We invite artists everywhere and beyond to submit art for the 10th Annual Halloween Art Exhibit! We are currently accepting applications for the 2008 show in Chicago this October. Zombies run "amok" when the HAE invades the 1901 Gallery!

The National showcase of Halloween Art continues it's series of showcases this year with a very special contest and art exhibit! Chicago's 1901 Gallery has been serving up some of the finest dark art exhibitions & performances we know! "Zombie Pin-Ups" is the brain child of HAE associate director Chad Savage. We knew it was eminent for a crossover with the Annual Halloween Art Exhibit, and now that time has arrived! Join us the last weekend in May when Halloween Art is in full bloom and the best dressed zombies walk away with the prizes! Guest DJ's, performances and a ghastly great time is in store for those NOT AFRAID! The Nineteen Hundred and One Gallery: 1901 W. Belmont Ave (Entrance on Wolcott). Opening Friday, May 30, 8 - 11:30 pm. Performance by Mark Bose. DJ Pa5cal. Saturday May 31, 8 - 11:30 pm Chad Savage hosts "Zombie Pin-Up" contest. DJ Brianne. For 4 years, Neil Tobin has been demonstrating his psychic & necromancer abilities in his long - running show "Supernatural Chicago". He also happens to be the city's chapter president of the Society of American Magicians. Children's Interactive provides education plus art activities Mars Gallery 1139 W. Fulton Market, Chicago
The Annual Halloween Art Exhibit is proud to present the 2007 Children's Interactive hosted by Ms. Lisa of Devil's Workshop Arts & Crafts! Learn about the history of Halloween and how it is celebrated around the world while making your own Halloween art to bring home! Each child will receive a Craft Coffin to decorate and take home (perfect for storing treasures or Halloween candy!). Costumes are encouraged but not required. Activities will also include snacks and a Halloween coloring/activity book. Pre-register and receive a free toy from the Devil's Workshop! A participation fee of $8.00 is requested on-site and will include all supplies and a snack. Groups are welcome but must provide one chaperone for every three children (chaperones attend free). All groups must pre-register with a deposit of 50%. Payments may be made by cash, check or paypal (Click Here). The HAE joins the Ghost Hunter Community in a supernatural conference...
2nd HAE October show added for 1st Annual Ghost Conference Oct. 27, 2007
Ursula Bielski is the founder of Chicago Hauntings, Inc. An historian, author, and parapsychology enthusiast. She has been writing and lecturing about Chicago's supernatural folklore and the paranormal for nearly 20 years. Her ambition and dedication has resulted in the formation of The 1st Annual Chicago Ghost Conference, the first of it's kind ever held in the city of Chicago. Field investigators, authors, historians, folklorists, artists, sensitives, and enthusiasts from every walk of life will come together for a weekend of learning and discovery, and - of course - ghosthunting. The Annual Halloween Art Exhibit was honored at the invite to display on Oct. 27th during the festivities. This will be our first satellite location and look forward being a part of their history.
